Regulations and instructions for the use of ATVs
It is mandatory to read and comply with the following instructions/obligations:
- To drive the ATV, it is necessary to have a category B driver's license.
- To be a passenger on an ATV, you must be at least 16 years old.
- ATVs are driven differently than other vehicles, such as motorcycles or cars. Proper training and practice is very important. ATVs can be very dangerous if they are operated in extreme conditions or by untrained people.
- For your safety, we recommend that you always wear a suitable helmet, long-sleeved shirt, long trousers, suitable shoes and gloves.
- Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Never carry a passenger
under the influence of alcohol or drugs. - Do not ride with more than one passenger, the ATV is designed for two people only.
- Riding ATVs can be an enjoyable form of outdoor recreation when done correctly, it is important to follow the instructions and warnings of the GUIDE you are accompanying.
- We recommend that you carefully follow the training and preparation carried out before starting the route by the GUIDE (always ask to be explained what you did not understand). Failure to do so will result in the immediate shutdown of all ATVs! After the GUIDE again reminds all the drivers for the last time, that not following his advice carefully can lead to accidents and personal or material damage, he will continue the proposed route in safe conditions. The GUIDE has the right to stop the ATV and forbid the User to use it, if he observes improper behavior of the User or his passenger.
- The ATV operator recommends wearing protective clothing. Although complete protection is not possible, knowing what to wear and how to wear it can make you more comfortable when you go for a walk and reduce the chance of injury. Never drive an ATV or ride as a passenger without at least a helmet, long pants, long sleeve shirt. The offroad equipment will help and protect you against pain, fatigue or cold, it will provide protection in case of an accident. It is important to protect your skin from scratches, and your eyes from any contact with foreign bodies. A protective helmet, a long-sleeved shirt, long pants and over-the-ankle boots are the minimum requirements for driver protection.
- Always keep both hands on the handlebars and both feet on the ATV footpegs while riding. Removing even one hand or foot can reduce your ability to control the ATV or cause you to lose your balance and fall.
- When you have a passenger, the risk of an accident is increased, always drive at a low speed, for a safe journey. Apply the brake properly, avoid excessive braking while turning. Apply the brakes gently on slippery surfaces. Always the appropriate speed for steep climbs or when going down a hill, going up hills or going down them improperly can cause loss of control or can cause the ATV to overturn, always follow and respect the advice of the GUIDE.
- Always keep a distance between ATVs that allows you to stop safely; wait each time for the ATV in front of you to finish climbing or descending a steep slope, after which you can move forward. MAKE SURE every time you park or before getting off the ATV that the engine is off; when stopping in the column of several ATVs, the risk of injury is very high if we do not follow these recommendations.
- The turning maneuver as well as the maximum turns are done at very low speed, to avoid a possible rollover; if you notice your ATV starting to lean, lean your body toward the inside of the turn, gradually reducing the throttle and widening if possible.
- When approaching a hazard/obstacle, do not stall, slow down or even stop, with plenty of time
in advance, avoiding accidents, wait for the help and instructions of the GUIDE.
