Cătălinu Trail – Adventure between mountains and traditions

After 3 years of experience and feedback from you, we managed to outline a route that combines the most appreciated parts of our adventures. Thus was born Catalinu route, a perfect combination of nature, adrenaline and tradition.

• Starting point: Iron Bath, Cernadia

• DuRATion: 4-6 hours (depending on pace and stops)

• Difficulty: Medium (suitable for both beginners and advanced)

• Equipment included: ATV, safety helmet, gloves

• recommendation: Comfortable clothes, boots and a desire for adventure!

Itinerary:

• Cernadia – Baia de Fier – We start with a stretch of paved road, ideal for acclimatizing yourself with your ATV.

• Next to the Women's Cave We pass through a spectacular area, with fairytale landscapes, and enter the Yellow Gorge, where nature completely envelops us.

• Trout stop 🐟 For fish lovers, we make a stop at the local trout farm.on request

• Climbing Mount Cătălinu – Zănoaga Peak -The adventure continues with a spectacular climb, and at the top a well-deserved break awaits us at a traditional sheepfold.

• Through the Parâng Mountains We cross dense forests, alpine valleys and stone roads, until we reach the asphalt again, in Ranca resort, near Păpușa Peak.

• Descent to Cernadia We return on a forest road, with one last stop at Deer, next to the relay – a perfect place for photos and memories.
